The BLUEsky brand was registered by Carrefour France on September 21, 1993. Since then, it has been renewed several times. It applies to various products and services, including cameras.
Unlike other retailers, the brand is applied to entry-level camera that have no equivalent in other "major" brands. Identical camera can be found under other retailer brands or used as promotional gifts.
The bluesky brand has been registered multiple times with various typographies, but Carrefour consistently uses it with "BLUE" in uppercase and "sky" in lowercase, without a space between the two parts.
This model succumbs to the trend of the Big Finder: an oversized viewfinder giving an impression of brightness but increasing parallax. As this trend prevailed among some major manufacturers in the 1990s, it's likely that the manufacturer of this BLUEsky FF 200 MF followed suit shortly thereafter.
